Man City vs Ipswich

I think this is decent odds for a player who had three shots last game against Liverpool.

Hutchinson was signed by Ipswich from Chelsea after an excellent break through season last term. He will play just off the main striker, likely to be be Delap, but with Wes Burns injured he maybe deployed out wide being he will cut in from the right. I don’t expect Ipswich to see much of the ball but City still might be missing a few keys players are they recover from the Euros.

In his last 6 games in the championship he registered 30 attempts at goal so he isn’t afraid to shoot. City are obviously incredibly at home but last season before Xmas they conceded an average of 6.44 shots per game with last seasons promoted sides managed 8,4 & 4.

Ipswich will get forward and have a small number of chances and when they do, I expect Hutchinson to be the one.

Staying with the game I want to get involved in a potential match up between Axel Tuanzebe and Jeremy Doku.

With Grealish a doubt, Oscar Bobb definitely ruled out and Savinho taken off injured against Chelsea, Doku should start and get plenty of minutes.

Doku was fouled in 15 of his 18 starts last season and fouled at least twice in eight. At the Etihad he started 13 fixtures and was fouled at least once in 12. In total he was fouled 18 times in his 13 home games. City will have the ball and with Ipswich sitting deep the City wide players will look to stretch the game and Doku should see plenty of the ball.

If Doku is getting fouled then it seems logical that the full back playing against him is likely to pick up one of those fouls. Axel Tuanzebe didn’t commit a foul when up against Luiz Diaz last game but he is 1.91 with Skybet to commit 1+ here.

Tuanzebe took a little while to force his way into the Ipswich team due to injuries, fitness and lack of games of the previous season, but by mid February he became a first choice full back. In the last 10 games of last season he committed at least one foul in nine games.

I’d also be tempted to have a nibble on Tuanzebe on 2+ fouls at 5.50

Bournemouth vs Newcastle

Hall will probably continue at left back for Newcastle given the injuries to their defenders and currently lack of defensive signings. In the opening game he committed 2 fouls as they struggled to overcome Southampton after being reduced to 10 men early on.

This time they travel to Bournemouth. The Cherries played Forest on the opening game and both full backs were booked for Forest as Bournemouth full backs pushed high. I think the home crowd will be up for the game as they welcome new star striker Evanilson.

Coote is the referee. Last season he averaged 24.11 fouls per premier league game.
